Herbal shampoo in India makes a hair shiny and glossy

Shampoo as the term suggests a hair care products which is mainly used for washing up of oil, dirt, and pollutants from our hair. The main motive of using a shampoo is to remove pollutant from a hair and make it silkier and shiny by nature. 

In ancient period shampoo is found to be made up of wide variety of herbs and their extracts were used as shampoos. Shampoos were generally made up by boiling sapindus with dried Indian gooseberry and other herbs which makes a shampoo more effective, soft and shiny. Beside this there is usage of various other materials among which shikakai hold a significant spot. In colonial countries one found the usage of husks and straw which were generally burned with ashes and later it was mixed with water to give it a lather effect. The ashes and lather were scrubbed into hair and rinsed out thus leaving the hair both clean and dry.  


In modern era we find the prevalence of Pure Natural shampoo which is generally made up by mixing a surfactant which includes that of a sodium lauryl sulfate with its co surfactant with water in order to form a thick and viscous liquid. Essential ingredients like preservative are also used in shampoos of today to give it a fragrance. 

In recent time one can often buy hair care products online among which sells of shampoo is increasing on a day to day basis. These shampoos generally possess some common quality and function which includes that of it pleases foam, ease of rinsing, minimizes skin and eye irritation, also has a low toxicity, and causes no damage to a hair. On the other hand formulas of shampoos often changes and it often contain silicone which provides it a conditioning benefits and makes it glossy and silky.
